Will of Hezekiah Morgan, from Newfoundland will books volume 15 page 393 probate year 1931

IN RE.                         DECEASED

Hezekiah Morgan.

This is the last will and testament of me, Hezekiah Morgan of Manuels Conception Bay, Newfoundland.
I hereby give and devise to my daughter Caroline Ivy provided that she would like to settle down at Manuels one half acre of land whereon to build a dwelling house - and I wish my son George Morgan to select the said half acre of land for the purpose named. I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Mary Jane Morgan my dwelling house and household furniture for her use during her lifetime and at her decease the said dwelling house and household furniture shall become the property of my son George Morgan. I leave to my said wife Mary Jane Morgan fifty dollars in cash for her own use and benefit and the balance of the money that I may have at the time of my death I give to my son George Morgan for the purpose of defraying household expenses. I leave my horse and cattle to my son George Morgan, and if my daughter Caroline Ivy reside permanently at Manuels, I wish him to give her a heifer calf. I give and devise all of my land (except the half acre afore mentioned) stable and other outhouses to my said son George Morgan his heirs and successors for their own use and benefit and I hereby appoint my said son George Morgan Executor of this my will.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this fifteenth day of March in the year one thousand nine hundred and twenty.
