Will of Caleb Morgan from Newfoundland will books volume 14 pages 581-582 probate year 1929

In re     DECEASED.
CALEB MORGAN.

In the name of God Amen.

I, Caleb Morgan of Lance Cove in the electoral district of Harbour Main Farmer, being of sound mind and understanding do make and ordain this my last will and testament.

First. I give devise and bequeath to my daughter Bertha Warford my dwelling house, stable and outhouses and all my furniture and my loose gear dray cart farming implements etc and also that piece or parcel of land situate at Lance Cove on which my said dwelling house and outhouses stand, abutted and bounded as follows, that is to say, on the South by the main line of road leading to Holyrood, on the west by the cart road which separates my land from land of William Harvey, on the north by land of William Harvey, and on the East by land of Robert Kearney and containing in all about one and half acres more or less.

Secondly. I give devise and bequeath to my daughter Bertha Warford all that piece or parcel of land situate at Seal Cove abutted and bounded as follows viz: on the south the main road leading up through Seal Cove; on the west by land of Robert Anthony; on the North by undivided land, and on the east by land of Mrs Mary Kearney, widow of the late John Kearney of Seal Cove and containing in all about one acres more or less.

Thirdly. I give devise and bequeath to my daughter Bertha Warford all that piece or parcel of land situate and being at Seal Cove and bounded as follows on the south by land of Wm Kelly, on the west by land of William Harvey on the north by land of George Kelly, and on the east by the road leading to the water side, and containing in all about half an acre more or less.

Fourthly. I give devise and bequeath to my daughter Jessie Dawe, all that piece or parcel of land situate and being at Seal Cove and bounded as follows on the north by a cart road which separates my land from land of George Henry Dawe, on the east by land of George Kelly, on the south by unclaimed land, and on the west by land of Jacob Henry Lear, and containing in all about half an acre more or less.

Fifthly. I appoint George Kelly my step-son as the executor of this my will and I hereby revoke and disannul all former testaments wills and bequests by me in anywise made, willed or bequeathed, declaring and ordaining this and no other to be my last will and testament.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this Third day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twenty six.
