In re
      Aaron Mogridge          deceased.

      This is the last will and Testament of me Aaron Mogridge of the Bay Bulls Road in the District of Saint John’s West in the Island of Newfoundland Farmer.     I give devise and bequeath to my son Thomas the Farm    I now reside on consisting of a Dwelling House and outbuildings and about thirty seven acres of land situate on the Bay Bulls Road aforesaid. I direct that my sons Aaron and Henry shall have lodgings in the said Dwelling House with Thomas, until each is able to provide a house or lodgings for himself
I give devise and bequeath unto my said son Aaron all that piece of land purchased from the Byrne family situate on the Bay Bulls Road aforesaid and also that piece of land bounded by the Heavy Tree and Old Deer’s March Roads.
I give devise and bequeath to my said son Henry all that piece of land situate on the Heavy Tree Road purchased from Mrs. Andrews.    I give and bequeath to my said son Thomas all my household furniture and chattels with the exceptions of a feather bed and clock which I give to my said son Aaron.     I give to my said sons Thomas Aaron and Henry my horses and cattle cows sheep pigs and poultry to be equally divided between them. I give to my said sons Henry Thomas and Aaron my ploughs rakes harrows and other farming implements to be equally divided between them.
I bequeath to my said son Aaron the old family bible containing the dates of the Births of my family.    I bequeath to my said son Henry my old Book “The New Testament” I appoint my said son Thomas Sole Executor of this my will     I revoke all wills and testamentary dispositions heretofore made by me.    In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this thirteenth day of June one thousand nine hundred and eight (sgd) Aaron his x mark Mogridge. Signed by the said Aaron Mogridge as his last will in the presence of us who in his presence, at his request and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses (having been first read over and Explained) Hugh H. Carter     Isaac K. Butler
