Richard Miller late of Kerley's
Harbor, Trinity Bay, Fisherman deceased.
In the name of God. Amen. The second day of
January one thousand nine hundred and two. I Richard Miller of Kerley's Harbor,
Trinity Bay, Newfoundland, Fisherman, being of a sound mind, memory & disposition
do now make this my last will & testament.
First. I recommend
my soul into the hand of Almighty God begging that he will deal graciously
with me.
Secondly I give and bequeath to my wife Elizabeth Miller my dwelling house & fishing room & gardens and all that is in them & also
money enough to support her until her death.
Thirdly that after the
decease of Elizabeth Miller I give & bequeath to William
Miller King the
fishing rooms & all belongings also gardens & dwelling house stores
etc. also the money that is left after Elizabeth Miller's death is to be divided
viz - William Miller King to receive two shares, Lizie
King wife of John King Sr. White Point one share and two shares to be divided equally between Richard
King, Henry King, & Aubrey King.
Fourthly. Whatever furniture
is left in the house after my wife Elizabeth King's death is to be equally
divided between Abraham Fowlow and Simeon Jones their heirs or successors sons
of my wife Eliz. Miller
fifthly & lastly. I do appoint Hezekiah
King to be the executor of this my last will & Testament. Signed by me
this second day of January one thousand nine hundred & two Richard
his x mark Miller. Witness Hezekiah King. William his x mark King
I certify the foregoing to be a correct
copy of the last will of Richard Miller
