Will of Tryphena Mercer from Newfoundland will books volume 15 page 551 probate year 1932

IN RE                    DECEASED.
Tryphena Mercer

I, Tryphena Mercer of Country Road, Bay Roberts, Nfld, do make and execute this my last will and testament on the fifteenth day of December in the year of Our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twenty five. I hereby revoke all my former wills, Codicils, and Testamentary Dispositions.
I appoint Erward J. French of Bay Roberts and William Parsons (Sr.) of Country Road Executors of this my will. Each is to receive the sum of Five dollars.
I give and bequeath to my daughter Elisa (Mrs. Arthur Bristow) all the land I possess. This land is boarded on the west by land belonging to Nathan Mercer on the North by the road leading out to Bay Roberts, on the East by land belonging to John Earle, and on the south by the big marsh and Crown Land. This land was a gift to me from my uncle James Belbin. Should my daughter Elisa at any time sell this land or any part of it, except the land that is hereafter mentioned in connexion with house, outhouses & kitchen garden, the money procured therefrom is to be divided into five equal parts, one part to go to my son William Earle, the second to my son John Earle, the third to my daughter Sarah French (Mrs. Esau French) the fourth to her daughter Elsie (Mrs. Barter Sparkes), and the fifth to my daughter Elisa aforementioned.
My carriage I bequeath to my daughter Elisa aforementioned.
My dwelling house, together with all its contents, the outhouses and kitchen garden, I give and bequeath to my daughter Elisa absolutely.
Of the money in the Nfld Government Savings Bank at Bay Roberts I give and bequeath to my son William the sum of Two hundred and fifty dollars, to my son John two hundred and fifty dollars, to my daughter Sarah one hundred and fifty dollars, to her daughter Elsie one hundred and fifty dollars. The residue of my money I give and bequeath to my daughter Eliza.
In witness whereof I the above named Testatrix have hereunto set my hand the day and year first above written.

Signed by the testatrix as her last Will & Testament in the presence of us, who both being present at the same time, in her presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.
