IN RE.          DECEASED

HENRY MERCER.

This is the last will and testament of me Henry Mercer of Henry of Upper Is Cove in the district of Hr Grace Newfoundland. I direct all my testamentary expenses be paid by my executors herein named.
I give and bequeath to my wife Susannah Mercer and my daughter Phoebe Adams to be equally divided among them all my household furniture, dwelling house out houses and lands.
I give and bequeath to my daughter Rachel Green $100 which shall be forwarded to her by my executor as soon as possible after my death.
I also give and bequeath to my daughter Sarah Foley the sum of $100 which she holds already as a loan and she shall be notified of this as soon as possible after my demise. I also give and bequeath to my wife Susannah Mercer and to my daughter Phoebe Adams to be equally divided among them all and every sum and sums of money which may be found in my house or be about my person or to my credit in the banks and every other item^{of my estate} and effects whatsoever or wheresoever both real and personal, except the two bequeaths herein above mentioned. I nominate constitute and appoint Colin G. Jones to be my executor of this my will and hereby I do revoke all other wills and testaments by me.
I declare this to be my last will and testament in witness whereof I the said Henry Mercer of Henry being in sound mind have to this my last will and testament set my hand this eight day of November in the year of Our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twenty seven.
