Will of Daniel Joseph McNeill, alias Wall In re Badger Brook Newfoundland June 26th 1914 Last will & testament of Daniel Joseph McNeill of St. John’s Nfld & now resident of Badger Brook Nfld I Daniel Joseph McNeill of St. John’s Newf’d (son of the late Oliver Joseph McNeill of Lower Montague Prince Edward Island Canada) being of sound understanding & common sense in this my last will and testament do (after all my lawful debts have been paid) bequeath unto my beloved wife Helena Mary McNeill now resident of Badger Brook all my earthly possessions, namely all my household goods jewellery & effects besides the balance of cash due & owned by me & in my possession at the time of my demise also (after deducting therefrom) the sum of Fifty dollars which I bequeath to my mother Mrs. Oliver Joseph McNeill of St. John’s Nfld all monies due or owing to me besides the balance of Cash to my credit in the Bank of Nova Scotia at St. John’s NFLD I hereunto bequeath to my beloved wife together with this I also bequeath unto my beloved wife all my late father’s Oliver Joseph McNeill’s estate at Cavendish Prince Edward Island Canada I appoint John T. McNamara of H.M. Customs at Badger Brook as my executor to see that the provisions of this will are lawfully carried out and may the Almighty God in his infinite Mercy receive my Soul in peace.
