Last will and testament of
Maria McNeil of Carbonear
widow deceased
.

This is the last will and testament of me Maria McNeil of Carbonear in the Island of Newfoundland widow. After the payment of all my just debts and funeral and testamentary expenses. I will divise and bequeath unto Warren Norman McNeil youngest son of John H. McNeil all my rights title and interest in and unto the estate of my late husband Israel L. McNeil, said estate being at the date of these presents in the process of administration. Item Unto my beloved sister Lavinia Tucker now of St. John's I will and bequeath all the moneys lying to my credit in the Harbor Grace savings Bank. Item. Unto my beloved sister Emily Louisa Bemister of Carbonear I will devise and bequeath all the shares standing in my name or to which I am entitled in the Bank of Halifax Nova Scotia and amounting to five hundred dollars more or less. Item, to Warren Norman McNeil aforesaid I bequeath the chest of drawers, washstand, looking glass, copper bedstead, bed and bedding now in my ???? Item unto ??ise Langley McNeil, second son of John G. McNeil I will and bequeath the gold watch and chain formerly belonging to my late husband together with the trunk with his name on it. Item unto ?iak? McNeil I give my own trunk and workbox. Moreover I desire that none of the articles particularly specified above shall be used until the children shall have respectively reached the age of twenty one years - Item any other property or properties of which I may die possessed and which may not have been before specified I give and bequeath to Warren Norman McNeil aforesaid - and I appoint Frederick T. Bemister of Carbonear accountant and J. Alexander Robinson of Carbonear Schoolmaster to be executors of this my last will and testament. In witnesses whereof I have hereunto set my hand this eight day of May in the year one thousand eight hundred and ninety two. (Sgd) Maria her x mark McNeil. Witnesses to the signature of Maria McNeil the testatrix and to the signatures of each other. (Sgd) Fredk T. Bemister. (Sgd) George E. Joyce
I certify the foregoing to be a correct copy of the last will and testament of Maria McNeil deceased.
