Will of James McKay from Newfoundland will books volume 5 page 165 probate year 1887 Last will and Testament of This is the last will and Testament of me James McKay of St. John's in the Island of Newfoundland Licensed Dealer. I give devise and bequeath unto my beloved wife Jane McKay all the property goods chattels and effects and policies of Insurance on my life which I may be possessed of at the time of my death for her own use and benefit. - And I appoint my friend Denis Galway executor of this my will. - Saint John's November 12th 1887. James McKay his x mark. Signed by the said testator as and for his last will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence and in the presence of each other have at his request subscribed our names as witnesses the same having been first read over & explained.
