Will of Michael McGee from Newfoundland will books volume 5 page 560-561 probate year 1891 Last will and testament To all to whom these presents shall come I Michael McGee of Harbor Grace, in the island of Newfoundland fisherman being of sound disposing mind memory and recollection do make publish and declare this to be my last will and testament (1) I will bequeath and give one hundred dollars to the Revd John Roe, Revd John March, and the Reverend Patk W. Brown share and share alike for spiritual intentions. (2) I will bequeath and give to my brother Patrick McGee if living, if not to his son Edward McGee Slyory Parish Kilmore Co Wexford Ireland twelve hundred dollars (3) I will bequeath and give to Right Revd Ronald McDonald Bishop of Harbor Grace one hundred dollars for rebuilding the Cathedral (4) I will bequeath and give to Mrs. Margaret Farrell wife of Patrick eighty dollars (5) I will bequeath and give to Mary Ann Neil and Sarah Neil eighty dollars with my bed and bedding share & share alike, (6) I will devise and give one hundred dollars to Right Revd. R. McDonald for five annual high masses. (7) I will devise and give fifty dollars to Andrew T. Drysdale and appoint him sole executor to this my last will and testament. (8) I will bequeath and give the rest and residue of all my money and property to my friend Patk Farrell Harbor Grace dealer absolutely (9) I hereby revoke all other wills by me made witness my hand at Harbor Grace Newfoundland this second day of January A.D. 1890 Michael his x mark McGee signed by the said Michael McGee the testator in our presence and we in the presence of each other at the same time subscribed our names as witnesses James Coughlan Alice Mary Saunders.
