      Mary Hannah McDougall     (born Ayre)
             deceased.

      This is the last will and Testament of me Mary Hannah Ayre of St. John’s Newfoundland married woman.
1. I revoke all former wills.
2. I appoint my brother Charles P Ayre executor of my will.
3. I leave my mother’s gold watch and chain to my niece Isabel Campbell, my music Canterbury and my mother’s clock to my brother Charles P Ayre, my bronze horses to my nice Flossie Knowling, my escritoire to Dorothy Ayre, my musical box to Jessie Ayre, my fur coat to Mrs. Charles P Ayre, my fur lined cloak to Miss Julia Ennis,
4. I leave the land with the house thereon in which I live and known as Brightside to my husband Alexander A. McDougall
5. I declare that the English suite of furniture now in my drawing room and dining room and consisting of six chairs a table a side board two easy chairs and a sofa and the bedstead in the servants room and two beds belong to my husband; the remainder of my household furniture and all chattels in and upon the premises known as Brightside belong to myself and are to be regarded as part of the residue of my estate.
6. I leave all the residue of my estate to be converted as soon as convenient into cash and then (after paying my debts and funeral and testamentary expenses) divided into five shares of which two shares shall be given to the Methodist Orphanage in St. John’s, two shares shall be given to George Street Church in St. John’s and one share shall be divided in equal shares between the Alexandra workers and the Cowan Mission St. John’s July 26^th 1915 - M. McDougall - Signed Published and Declared by the said Testatrix as and for her last will and Testament in and presence who in her presence and at her request and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses Herbert Knight    Harold S. Knight.
