The last Will and Testament of
Elizabeth McDonald late of
St. John's, Married woman, deceased.
In the name of God. Amen. This is the last
will and testament of me Elizabeth McDonald wife of Joseph McDonald of St.
John's. Firstly. I hereby constitute and appoint my sister Catherine
McFarlane of St. John's sole executrix of this my last will. Secondly.
I give, devise and bequeath to my executrix aforesaid all my right title and
interest in and to that dwelling house situate on the west side of McFarlane
Street a no 51 at present in the occupancy of one Mrs. Goff, in trust for my
three sons Peter, Joseph and James McDonald. It is my will and desire that
my said executrix shall not sell or dispose of said house but the proceeds
of the yearly rental after deduction of all necessary costs charges and expenses
thereof shall be paid over in equal parts to my three sons as aforesaid share
and share alike in half yearly payments or as the said rent is collected.
Thirdly
I hereby revoke all other wills that may have been made by me. In witness whereof
I have hereunto my hand set and subscribed at St. John's aforesaid this 31st day
of May 1902. Elizabeth
McDonald. Signed by the said Testatrix as and for
her last will and testament in our presence who in her presence at her request
and in the presence of each other have hereunto our hand set and subscribed
as witnesses. The same having been first read over and explained - Kate

certify the foregoing to be a correct copy of the last will of Elizabeth
McDonald.
