Will of Patrick Henry McDermott IN RE I, Patrick Henry McDermott, of St John's, Sergeant of Police, do hereby make this my last will and testament;
P.H. McDERMOTT. Dated at St. John's this twenty ninth (29) day of March A.D. 1917 Signed by the said testater as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us, who, in his presenceand in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses. Louise Saunders of St John's Clerk to R.A. Squires. CORRECT, Note: This is a transcription of a will for my wife's grand aunt's adoptive father. The executrix named, Sister Mary Baptist of the Mercy Sisters, born Margaret Mary Davis and adopted as Margaret Mary McDermott is also deceased. She died in Boston, MA in 1950 and was buried at the Mercy Sisters Convent in Rhode Island.
