Last will and Testament of
Elizabeth McCarthy of St. John’s
Widow deceased

      This is the last Will and Testament of me Elizabeth McCarthy of St. John’s in the Island of Newfoundland Wife of William McCarthy . I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary Ann McCarthy all the property of which I may die possessed of every nature and kind whatsoever. I appoint my said daughter Mary Ann McCarthy Executrix hereto.
Dated at St. John’s aforesaid this Fourteenth day of February AD 1893. (Sgd) Elizabeth her X mark McCarthy Signed by the said testatrix in our presence who in her presence at her request and in the presence of each other affix our names as witnesses hereto, being first read over and explained (Sgd) Chas H Hutchings (Sgd) H. Rennie
