Will of Morgan Matthews In re I, Morgan Matthews of Grand Bank in the Dominion of Newfoundland, fisherman, being of sound mind and memory, and hereby revoking all former wills by me made, do give, devise and bequeath all my property, real and personal as follows: My dwelling house and furniture, with grounds surrounding it together with barn and outhouses I bequeath to my son William Poole Matthews. At his death said dwelling house and surroundings shall go to his son Ambrose Foote Matthews, with the proviso that the latters mother, if she survives her husband shall occupy the house with him while she remains a widow. My meadow on what is known as the “Outside Road” I bequeath to my sons Aaron Grandy Matthews, and William Poole Matthews, the former taking the part marked out and now used by him, the latter the other part. My meadow on what is known as the “Inside Road” to be divided into four lots of equal size, the eastern lot I give to my daughter Elizabeth Poole; the next to my son William Poole Matthews, the next to my son Aaron Grandy Matthews, the next to my grandson Claude Matthews. My meadow up the brook I bequeath to my children “Morgan” “Aaron Grandy” “William Poole” and daughter Elizabeth in equal parts. I desire that at no time shall any of my property be sold out of the family. What money I may be possessed of at my
decease, after my funeral expenses, and legal debts have been paid, I
bequeath in equal parts to my sons “Morgan”, “Aaron
Grandy”, “William Poole”, my
