Will of George Manuel
from Newfoundland will books volume 12 page 567 probate year 1924

In re
      GEORGE MANUEL.          DECEASED.

In the name of God, Amen,     I George Manuel of Lewisporte in the Dominion of Newfoundland, Carpenter, being of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding, but considering the uncertainty of life do this Sixteenth day of December one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, make this my will and testament in manner and form following:-
That is to say to my son Ford Manuel, I give and bequeath my Dwelling House and outhouses now in my possession situated at Lewisporte, with one-half of my land, in consideration of which my son Ford Manuel is to look after and make comfortable, my wife, and his mother Mahola Manuel until her decease.
All my money is to go to my wife to be use at her own discretion.

      To my other son Robert W. Manuel I give and bequeath one-half of my land. That is, after my decease the land which I have now in my possession is to be divided proportionally between my two sons aforesaid named.
And I nominate and appoint Uriah Freake (Merchant) of Lewisporte my Executor to this my will and testament, and I hereby revoke all former and other wills by me made.
      In witness whereof I the said George Manuel have hereunto set my hand and seal at Lewisporte the day and year first above written.    GEORGE MANUEL

Signed, Sealed, Published and declared by the said Testator George Manuel as and for his will and testament in the presence of us who at his request, and in the presence of each other have herewith set and subscribed our names as witnesses.
