Margaret Campbell MacPherson

I the undersigned Margaret Campbell MacPherson of St. John's Newfoundland but temporarily residing in France do hereby make publish and declare the following as and for my last Will and Testament.

1. After payment of my debts due and funeral expenses, I give devise and bequeath all the rest, residue and remainder of my property, real and personal and wheresoever situated with the exception nevertheless of such part thereof as may be physically situated in France, to my friend Josephine Roxie Bartlett.
2. In the event of said Josephine Roxie Bartlett having predeceased me I give devise and bequeath the sum of £5,000 sterling to my goddaughter Alicia Patricia Madge MacPherson and the rest residue and remainder to my other nephews and nieces share and share alike.
I herewith name and appoint said Josephine Roxie Bartlett and my brother Archibald Robert Hugh Macpherson as my executors, giving them seinin of my property without bonds, and I direct that such executors shall not be required to reduce to possession any of my property in the Republic of France, in respect of which I have made a separate will.
To this my last Will and Testament entirely written dated and signed in my own hand writing I hereby affix my hand and seal this fifth day of December one thousand nine hundred and nineteen.
