Will of Thomas Lynch
from Newfoundland will books volume 13 page 119 probate year 1925

In re
      THOMAS LYNCH.     DECEASED.

This is the last Will and Testament of me Thomas Lynch of Saint John’s in the Island of Newfoundland, Customs Warehouseman.

I hereby give devise and bequeath my dwelling house No. 30 Livingstone Street to my two daughters Catherine and Mary to be held by them in common.

I direct that the lower flat is to go to Catherine and the upper portion of the said house is to become the property of Mary wife of Thomas Moore conditional on her paying all Municipal Taxes and Ground Rent which is due or to become due on the said house but in the event of my daughter Catherine marrying then the said Municipal Taxes and Ground Rent shall be paid equally by both Catherine and Mary. Out of the sum to my credit in the Bank of Montreal I give the sum of Fifty Dollars to my daughter Catherine, the sum of Fifty Dollars to my daughter Mary, and the sum of Fifty Dollars to my granddaughter Margaret Moore. I give such amount as shall be to my credit in the Newfoundland Savings Bank after paying my funeral and Testamentary expenses together with the residue of my estate to my daughter Catherine.

I hereby appoint John J. Mahoney, City Clerk, to be the executor of this my will.

Dated this twenty third day of May 1922.
