Will of Edward Loughlin, from Newfoundland will books volume 15 page 209 probate year 1930

IN RE.          DECEASED

EDWARD LOUGHLIN

This is the last will and testament of me, Edward Loughlin Sr. of Flat Islands P.B. Fisherman. His X Mark, signed by me Rev James P. Kay hereby revoking all wills, testaments or codicils by me at any time heretofore made.
I devise and bequeath all my estate real and personal to my executors and trustees hereinafter named in trust for the purposes following:-
Firstly, to pay my just debts, funeral and Testamentary expenses, and to hereafter in trust to dispose of and pay over or convey the same to the personor persons or corporations hereinafter named as follows:-
To convey to Wm. Benn Loughlin my property stationary and moveable including Jack Boat Trap Skiff Traps and Nets and Dories.
To Wm. Benn Two hundred dollars.
To my wife Two hundred dollars.
To daughter Mrs Wm. Butt Senior one hundred.
To James senior fifty dollars.
To Jessie Loughlin fifty dollars.
To Bessie Kippen fifty dollars.
To Albert Loughlin Grand son fifty dollars.
Remainder to be divided equally among my three grand-children Anastasia Loughlin, Caroline Loughlin, Edward Loughlin, Wm Benn Loughlin to be Guardian of this last named amount. All the rest and residue of my estate I devise and bequeath to Wm. Benn Loughlin. Be it also understood that my wife Ann Elisa Loughlin shall have if she so desire the use of my present dwelling as long as she so desires it, so long as she remains your widow.
I nominate constitute and appoint James Henry Loughlin Fisherman Flat Islands P.B. Wm Collins Flat Islands Fisherman and trustees of this my last will, with full power and authority to sell and dispose of all my estate where necessary, and execute any and all documents requisite to carry out this my will, and should one or more of my said executors or trustees wish to retire I authorise them to appoint a successor instead thereof.
In witness whereof I subscribed these presents as printed and written this second 2nd day of February A.D. 1925.
