Will of John Franklin LeDrew
In re John F. LeDrew deceased
This is the last will and testament of me John F. LeDrew, of Change Islands, Nfld. Seaman, hereby revoking all wills testaments or codicils by me at any time heretofore made revoking all wills, testaments or codicils by me at any time heretofore made (I presume the repetition is an error on the part of the court clerk) I devise and bequeath all my Estate, real and personal to my executors and trustees hereinafter named in trust for the purposes following:- Firstly to pay my just debts, funeral and testamentary expenses, and thereafter, in trust, to dispose of and pay over or convey the same to the person or persons or corporations hereinafter named as follows:-
In witness whereof I subscribed these present as printed and written
this [April] 4th day of April A. D. 1916. John Franklin
LeDrew. Signed published and declared by the said Testator as his
last will and testament in the presence of us both present at the same
time who in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto
set and subscribed our names as witness.

|Note: The wills in those will books are NOT actual wills.
They are hand-written copies of a, "last will and testament," written
by the court clerk, after the death of the testator, when the executor
presented them to the court for probate. The court clerk didn't list
the signatures at the bottom, he (or she) just put them in the book
in whatever order they were in, on the original document, no spacing
most of the time, no punctuation. The originals were kept by the executor.
We who have typed these wills, have made every effort to include all the errors that were on the microfilm, in order to avoid destroying the integrity of the originals, where ever they may be.
