Will of Thomas J. Lawlor In re This is the last will of me Thomas J. Lawlor of St. John’s Farmer and I revoke all former wills by me made. I appoint my wife Fanny and my son Thomas to be executors of this my will. I give devise and bequeath all my property of every description to my wife for her life and after her death I give devise and bequeath to my said son Thomas the said property absolutely but reserving thereout the dwelling house with the land thereunder and appurtenant in which dwelling I now live and reserving thereout any moneys of my estate not used by my said wife for her maintenance during life or to be used on account of her debts or funeral or like expenses. I give devise and bequeath the residue of my estate (including that hereinbefore reserved) to my wife to dispose of by her will as she may see well. In witness whereof I have set my hand to this my will this 18th day of June 1910. T. Lawlor Signed by the testator Thomas J. Lawlor as his last will in our presence who in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses Jas. J. McGrath Josephine Power This is a codicil to my last will dated 18th day of June 1910 whereby I bequeathed the residue of my estate to my wife AND whereas she has since died Now therefore I bequeath the dwelling house in which I live with the land thereunder and appurtenant thereto to my son Thomas and his wife Elizabeth as joint tenants for their natural lives and after the death of the survivor to the child or children of their issue in equal shares if more than one) living at the death of said survivor that is my said Thomas or his said wife as the case may be If no said child be living at the death of the said survivor then said survivor is to take absolutely. The residue of my estate I LEAVE to my said son Thomas absolutely And I confirm my said will in all other respects where it does not conflict with this codicil.
