Last will and Testament
of Ellen Lanigan
of St. John's widow Deceased.

This is the last will and testament of me Ellen Lanigan at present of St. John's widow made this thirteenth day of October A.D. 1890. I devise and bequeath to my grandson John Rorke the sum of eighty dollars to the Reverend John Ryan Saint Patrick's the sum of twenty eight dollars to the nuns at Saint Patrick's Convent Riverhead St. John's the sum of twenty eight dollars all the rest and residue of my estate consisting either of lands tenements or monies of every description whatsoever of which I shall die possessed I devise and bequeath to my son John Lanigan I appoint my said son John executor of this my will. In testimony whereof I have hereunto subscribed my hand by affixing my mark at Saint John's aforesaid the day and year first above written. Signed by the said testatrix by affixing her mark as her last will and testament in the presence of us who in her presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses the same having been first read over and explained Ellen her x mark Lanigan.
