Last will and testament
of Mary Lamb
of St. John's Spinster deceased
.

This is the last will and testament of me Mary Lamb of St. John's in the island of Newfoundland spinster First I direct that all my just debts and funeral and testamentary expenses shall be paid second I give devise and bequeath unto Catherine Minow wife of James J. Minow the house I now occupy No 9 South Street in St. John's aforesaid and I direct that out of the profits and rents accruing from said property the said Catherine Minow shall have two masses celebrated yearly all her life for the repose of my soul. I direct that my bed shall be sold and the proceeds to go for masses for the repose of my soul. I also direct that all monies in my possession at the time of my death shall after the payment of all debts and funeral and testamentary expenses be given for masses for the repose of my soul. I hereby appoint John Burke Crier of the S. Court sole executor of this my will and I revoke and declare null and void all other and former wills by me made. Witness my hand at St. John's aforesaid this eleventh day of December A.D. eighteen hundred and ninety Mary her x Mark Lamb. Signed by the said Testatrix as and for her last will and Testament in our presence who in her presence and in presence of each other have hereto signed our names as witnesses on the day and year above written (the same having been in our presence read over to and approved of by her as and for her last will and testament) P. J. Simmons John Burke.
I certify the foregoing to be a correct copy of the last will and testament of Mary Lamb.
