Last Will and Testament

Jacksons Cove
Green Bay          May 25th 1923

This is the last will and testament of me Jonathan Michael Knight, Fisherman of Jacksons Cove, Green Bay, Newfoundland. I devise and bequeath to my son Alan Knight at the time of my decease, the following pieces of land herein described.
Commencing on Western boundry of my land situated at Jacksons Cove, Green Bay, in the District of Twillingate, Newfoundland, fifty foot frontage seashore, running back to Public Road. From Public Road and running parallel by western boundry, a piece of land fifty feet wide and two hundred and eighty feet long. Also my heirs and assigns are to allow Alan Knight the use of a road through my land to reach his granted land on hill back of and connecting with my land, as long as himself or his successors shall need it.
The rest of my estate real and personal to which I shall be entitled at the time of my decease to my son Arthur A. Knight with the proviso that he, his heirs and assigns, shall see to, and support my wife Familo Knight as long as she shall live. Otherwise the part of my estate real and personal bequeathed to Arthur A. Knight shall become the property and estate of my wife Familo Knight, to be persided over by her and bequeathed to whom soever she may choose as her heirs.
And I do hereby appoint Arthur A. Knight to be the sole executor of this my will.
