Emily Jessie Knight of St. John’s
Married Woman deceased

      This is the last will and Testament of me Emily Jessie Knight of St. John’s Married woman I hereby revoke all wills and other testamentary dispositions heretofore made by me and declare this to be my last will I give devise and bequeath all my property Estate and effects of every nature and kind whatsoever unto and to the use of my dear husband Edward George Knight absolutely and I appoint him Executor of this my last will. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this twenty seventh day of June Anno Domini Eighteen hundred and ninety eight. (Sgd) Emily Jessie her X mark Knight Signed (by making her mark) published and declared by the said Testatrix as and for her last will and Testament in the presence of us who at her request in her presence and in the presence of each other (all present at the same time) have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses having been first read over and explained to the said testatrix and approved of by her.
