Daniel Kinsella
IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN. This is the last will and testament of me Daniel Kinsella of St John's, Miner.
- All debts due by me must be paid by my Executor hereinafter named.
- I appoint William J. Carroll of St John's Sub Sheriff my sole executor.
- I give and devise to my said executor to be distributed by him, all the moneys standing to my credit in the Government Savings Bank and in the Saving Department of the Bank of Montreal and the Royal Bank of Canada as follows; Five hundred dollars to William Brophy my nephew of Brocton Mass U.S.A., Five hundred dollars to Frank Brophy his brother also my nephew; Five hundred dollars to my niece Mrs. John Savage of St John's, Newfoundland, the balance of any money remaining in the banks aforesaid to be divided equally between John Kinsella Jr., James Kinsella, Daniel Kinsella Jr, and Anna Kinsella all of Brecton Mass. aforesaid.
- The following bonds namely, two bonds for one thousand dollars each in the Avalon Telephone Co., two bonds in the United Towns Electric Company for one thousand dollars each are to be divided as follows: One thousand dollar bond each to my three nephews John Kinsella Jr., James Kinsella, Daniel Kinsella Jr. and to my niece Anna Kinsella (now married) all of Brocton Mass.
- My house and furniture on Kings Road St John's to be disposed of to the best advantage by my executor and the proceeds to be divided equally amongst John Kinsella Jr., James Kinsella, Daniel Kinsella Jr. and my niece Anna Kinsella (now married) aforesaid in equal parts.
- I also will, that before any distribution of the estate is made the following amounts must be paid, namely twenty five dollars each to the four Orphanages Mount Cashel, Belvidere, the Church of England and United Church, that is one hundred in all.
- I give and bequeath to the Committee of Belvidere Cemetery the sum of one hundred dollars to be deposited in the Newfoundland Savings Bank and the interest thereof each year is to be devoted to the care and upkeep of my burial place in Belvidere - and also for the care and upkeep of the plot of Patrick Dalton in same cemetery.
- I will and bequeath to the Rev Fr. Robert St John the sum of one hundred dollars for Masses for the repose of my soul and those of my wife and father and mother and family.
