Theophilus King

Last Will and Testament of Theophilus King.
I Theophilus King of Catalina Trinity Bay Nfld knowing the uncertainty of this mortal life and being of sound mind and memory do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following.
First. I order that one year after my death all my lands with dwelling house and all outhouses thereon be sold by my executors and all moneys from the sale of same shall be placed in the Bank until the death of my beloved wife Phoebe King. I also order that if my wife Phoebe King should be in need of money before her death she shall receive from my executors such sums of money as she shall require from the money placed in the bank from the sale of my property.
I also order and will that all money remaining in the Bank at my wife's death be divided among my sons and daughters as follows.
To my son [R]ubert King                       2 parts
To my daughter Dora Belle Taylor         2 parts
To my son Richard William King         1 part
To my son Walter King                          1 part
To my daughter Jane Stone Fudge        1 part
To my daughter Lucy Richardson         1 part
and to my daughter Alfreda Coleredge  1 part
I also will and bequeath to my daughter Dora Belle Taylor my organ and as much of my household furniture and chattels as she may care to take.
And I also order that the remainder of my household goods furniture and chattels and tools be sold by my executors and the moneys realized from the sale of same be given over to my wife Phoebe King.
And lastly I do nominate and appoint Thomas King of Catalina Trinity Bay Nfld and Victor P. Martin J.P. of Catalina Trinity Bay Nfld to be the executors of this my last will and testament.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 13th day of June in the year of Our Lord 1930, one thousand nine hundred and thirty.

The above instrument consisting of one sheet was now here subscribed by Theophilus King the testator in the presence of each of us and was at the same time declared by him to be his last will and testament and we at his request sign our names hereto as attesting witnesses
