Will of George King from Newfoundland will books volume 14 page 265 probate year 1914
This will was apparently probated in 1914. No explanation is included in the will book as to why a will probated in 1914 is included out of chronological order with wills probated in 1928

In re       DECEASED.
GEORGE KING.

This is the last will and testament of me George King of Saint John's in the island of Newfoundland Shiprigger.

I nominate and appoint my wife Grace King sole executrix of this my will. I give and bequeath all my leasehold estate consisting of four houses and premises known as Nos 132, 136, 122, 124 and 120 respectively Casey's Street in the town of St. John's aforesaid with appurtenances thereto belonging unto my said wife Grace King during her lifetime and upon the death of my said wife I give and bequeath the said leasehold house and premises known as No 136 Casey's Street unto my nephew John K. Piercey of Saint John's aforesaid. I also give and bequeath the said leasehold house and premises known as No 132 Casey's Street unto my wife's nephew Charles Codner of Torbay, upon the death of my said wife.

I also give and bequeath the said leasehold house and premises, consisting of two tenements and known as Nos 122 and 124 respectively unto Elfrida Gillingham wife of John Gillingham upon the death of my said wife.

I also give and bequeath the said leasehold house and premises known as No 120 Casey's Street unto Eliza Skeans of Saint John's aforesaid widow my said wife's sister, upon the death of my said wife. I give and bequeath all the monies that I may die possessed of unto my said wife absolutely.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this second day of February one thousand nine hundred and ten.
