Last Will and Testament of
Susan Kerley of Burnt Island
Widow deceased.

      The last will and bequest of Susan Caerley widow of Thomas Caerley of Burnt Islands in the District of Burgeo and LaPoile. - I Susan Caerley do bequeath and will to George Poole of Burnt Islands, my brother, and to his heirs and successors for ever all my property at Burnt Islands namely my dwelling house with all furniture & household goods in the same; three stores situate two on the south and one on the east side of my house together with all the land pertaining thereto both north & south, east and west of my dwelling. Moreover in addition to this my last will and testament I Susan Caerley do bequeath and will to the above George Poole my brother and to his heirs and successors for ever my personal wealth to the amount of ten hundred & eighty dollars ($1080.00) deposited in the Union Bank of Newfoundland with the interest there upon of the said deposit No. 19279 dated 18th November in the year of Grace 1891. Also any money which may be in the house or which may be due to me on and at the time of my death I bequeath to my brother George Poole of Burnt Islands. Given under my hand this 11th day of June in the year of our Lord 1892. (Sgd) Susan her x mark Caerley. in the presence of us (sgd) Augustus G. Bayly B.A. (Deacon) Rose Blanche (sgd) George Poole. Witnesses.

      I certify the foregoing to be a correct copy of the last will and Testament of Susan Kerley deceased
