Will of William Kent from Newfoundland will books volume 14 page 149 probate year 1927 In re I William Kent of Peter being of sound mind make this my last Will and Testament: I give and bequeath to my son Peter all that piece of land known as the Cliff Side Property, bounded on the North by land owned by Michael Stoyles, on the West by land owned by my brother James Kent and on the East by land owned by my nephew Richard Kent. I also bequeath unto my son Peter Kent that portion of land on the North Side of the Lance Cove Road as far back Northwards to a spruce tree now growing on the land. The Northern boundary of this portion being determined by a straight line connecting two pegs with the aforesaid tree. I bequeath to my wife Bridget Kent the remaining portion of the land specified in paragraph three above. I bequeath to my son Peter a portion of that piece of land on the North Side of the Lance Cove Road (containing about three and a quarter acres) on the left hand side of the gate, from the said gate to the back fence. I bequeath the remaining portion of the land specified in paragraph five five to my wife Bridget. I bequeath to my wife Bridget all the remainder of my property movable and fixed. I bequeath unto my nephew Richard Kent that piece of land on Lance Cove Beach. I appoint Peter Hammond Senior executor of this my Will. In witness of the foregoing Testament I hereunto set my hand, this Sixth day of June A D 1924 in the presence of the two subscribing witnesses. Dr J B Lynch and J. T.
