The Will of Silas Burt

of

Bishops Falls, Newfoundland.

I Silas Burt of Bishops Falls, Newfoundland, declare this to be my last will and Testament.

I give and bequeath to my daughter Phoebie Stone, of Bishops Falls, the sum of $200.00. two hundred dollars, now in the Bank of Nova Scotia, Twillingate, together with any money that I may have in my possession in the house at my death.

I also give and bequeath to my daughter, Phoebie Stone, all my clothes, and also that belonging to my wife, which shall be in or about the house in which I am living at the time of my death.

I give and bequeath to my daughter Phoebie Stone, all the household goods, furniture, chattels and effects, which shall at the time of my death be in or about my house, at Big Wild Cove, Twillingate South Island.

I give and bequeath the following legacies to the several persons hereafter named: To my son William T. Burt, $100.00 To my daughter Ann Ings, $80.00 To my adopted daughter Hariot Gillard $180.00 To Jabez Jenkins $80.00

I give and bequeath to Jabez Jenkins, my house, and all the land connected with it, situated at Big Wild Cove, Twillingate South Island. In the event of my wife surviving me, I desire that this my will shall not come into effect until after her death. <p></p>

I appoint my daughter Phoebie Stone, sole executor of this my last will and testament.

In witness whereof, I Silas Burt, have hereunto set my hand this 14th day of March, 1925.
