Will of Cornelius Kennedy from Newfoundland will books volume 7 page 221 probate year 1846 The last will of I Cornelius Kennedy of Holyrood in the District of Harbor Maine being weak in body but of sound and disposing mind make this my last will and testament hereby annulling all former wills by me at any time made. I will and bequeath all my money consisting of one thousand dollars Insurance in the Equitable Life Ins. Co. of New York, five hundred dollars in the Savings Bank, Bank of Montreal and about three hundred dollars besides to my beloved wife to be used by her for her own support and that of my children and their education. I also will and bequeath to her all my house and land to be hers during the term of her natural life and after her death I will and bequeath the house and the land adjoining it to my son Cyril and the land known as the farm to my sons Leo and Thomas Joseph to be divided equally between them. I appoint the Rev Joseph Murphy of Holrood executor of this my last will of testament in testimony of which I hereby set my hand and seal this twenty sixth day of September Anno Domini one thousand nine hundred and one.
