Ivy, the will index has two errors on this one. It should be page 662 not 664 and the probate year should be 1892 not 1893

Last will and testament of
Johanna Kenealy of Carbonear deceased
.

This is my last will and testament. In the name of God Amen this twenty four day of August one thousand eight hundred and eighty three. I Johanna Kenealy of the town of Carbonear Gentlewoman being sick and weak of body but perfect of mind and memory thank God: therefore calling to mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed into all men once to die do make and ordain this my last will and testament that is to say principally and first of all to say: I will and recommend my soul into the hands of God and my body to the earth and as touching such worldly estate wherewith God was pleased to bestow me with in this life I give and demise and dispose of the same in the following manner and form. <br>First of all I give and bequeath to my son John all and every part of the new house situated on the north side of Saint Patrick's Street leading towards the Roman Catholic Church. Also all the furniture the drawing room contains and all the rest of the furniture with the exception of what I will apportion to my daughter Mary Geary, my granddaughter Mary Joseph Geary and my grandson Maurice Kenealy hereafter specified to have and to hold. <br>Secondly I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary Geary seventy pounds currency, three trunks and their contents one washstand one chest of drawers one easy chair one looking glass and one set of china to have and to hold.
Thirdly I give and bequeath to my granddaughter Mary Joseph Geary one bed & bedstead one work box to have and to hold.
Fourthly I give and bequeath to my grandson Maurice Kenealy one bed & bedstead one looking glass one sofa, one round table, six chairs and one ?????
Fifthly I give and bequeath to my sister Mary ??? the sum of ten pounds currency to have and to hold.
Sixthly I give and bequeath to my niece in the convent Mary Joseph Patrick Gould the sum of five pounds currency also to my niece in the convent Mary Joseph the sum of five pounds currency to have and to hold.
Seventhly. I give and bequeath to the Reverend Richard Walsh ten pounds currency to have and to hold. Ratifying and confirming this my last will and testament in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year above written. (Sgd) Johanna Kenealy (LS) In presence of the subscribers (Sgd) Richard Walsh (sgd) Michl. Gould.

Codicil. In the name of God Amen I Johanna Kenealy of Carbonear in addition to the sums bequeathed by me in the foregoing my last will and testament I also give and bequeath the sum of twenty five pounds currency to the building fund of the Roman Catholic Church of Carbonear. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty nine day of August 1883. (Sgd) Johanna Kenealy (LS) In presence of the subscribers (sgd) Richard Walsh. (Sgd) Michl Gould.
I certify the foregoing to be a correct copy of the last will and testament and codicil of Johanna Kenealy deceased.
