Will of James Joyce from Newfoundland will books volume 6 page 359 probate year 1897 Last Will and Testament of James Joyce of Hay Cove, Flat Island Burin Fisherman deceased       I James Joyce by this my last will do bequeath to my children Robert Joyce Christopher Joyce, Elizabeth Dicks, Margaret Keeping Rebecca Miller all my property of every description to be equally divided amongst them at my death. (Sgd) James his x mark Joyce.     witnesses (sgd) James Smith. (Sgd) Reuben Dicks. Hay Cove. Placentia Bay Sept. 12th 1897       I certify the foregoing to be a correct copy of the last will and Testament of James Joyce deceased Registrar (Listed in the margin next to this will the following) adm c.t.a. granted to Christopher Joyce Dated Dec 11: 1897 Estate Sworn under $820.00
