Will of John William Nicholson Johnstone from Newfoundland will books volume 14 page 111 probate year 1927

In re
      J. W. N. JOHNSTONE.       DECEASED.

This is the last Will and Testament of me, John William Nicholson Johnstone of St. John's in the Island of Newfoundland, Railway and Steamship Agent:-

  1. I revoke all former wills and testamentary dispositions.
  2. I appoint my friend John C. Jardine of St. John's, Newfoundland, executor and trustee of this my will.
  3. I appoint my mother, Jessie Wynn Johnstone, and my sisters, Jessie Wynn Johnstone and Mary Johnstone, and the survivors and survivor of them guardians of the person of my infant son George Murray Gordon Johnstone.
  4. I leave to my son George Murray Gordon Johnstone all my plate, silver, jewellery, trinkets, linen, and my small personal effects, and all photographs.
  5. My son George Murray Gordon Johnstone being amply provided for under the will of his grandfather James Gordon, I leave all the rest, residue and remainder of my estate unto my mother, Jessie Wynn Johnstone, and my sisters Jessie Wynn Johnstone and Mary Johnstone in equal shares.

Dated at St. John's in the Island of Newfoundland this twenty second day of November, Anno Domini one thousand nine hundred and twenty three.

Signed published and declared by the said Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in our presence who in his presence and at his request and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.
