In re WILLIAM JAMES. DECEASED.
In the name of God Amen.
I William James of Trepassey in the District of Placentia
and St. Marys do now and declare this to be my last will and testament.
I will
and bequeath to my son George James all that piece of land
between Taylors and Finleys, from the Public Road down to the Salt Water, the
waterside included with it.
I will and bequeath to my Grandsons (the sons of
Alfred James) all that piece of land back from the Public
Road down to the Salt Water, the waterside included with it.
I will and bequeath
to my son William Augustine James my Dwelling house and Cellar
up and down and all that is in them (except a bible, writing desque, and two
feather beds)
I will and bequeath to William Augustine James' daughter Harriet
James the Bible.
And I will and bequeath to his daughter Eita Mary
James the Writing Desque. I will and bequeath to my Grandson William
James of Alfred my smallest Feather Bed.
I will and bequeath to William
Augustine James' son Albert James my largest Feather
Bed and Beading.
I will and bequeath to my son William Augustine James my stable
and my part of the Big Store. I also will and bequeath to him, William
Augustine James the New Wharf, my part of the Fish Curing Beach on
the point at Daniels Point, and the waterside from the Eastern Side of the
Old Wharf eastern around Daniels Point.
I also will and bequeath to my son
William Augustine James my two meadows on the West Side of
Daniels Point, one from the Public Road down to the Salt Water, the other from
the public road back to the fence on the top of the hill.
I also will and bequeath
to my son William Augustine James all my land on the Western Shore of the North
West Arm. I also will and bequeath to my son William Augustine James my cabbage
garden. In case of my son William Augustines death all that I have willed to
him shall go to his son Albert Lee James.
I now hereby appoint Thomas Sutton of George to be my Executor.
I will and bequeath to my Grandson William James son of Alfred
James all the Water Side back to the fence on the West Side of Daniels Point under
my meadow.
