Will of Alexander Jackson from Newfoundland will books volume 7 page 202 probate year 1902

The last Will of
Alexander Jackson of Harbor Grace
Head Constable, deceased.

      I Alexander Jackson Head Constable of Police Harbor Grace, Newfoundland, declare this to be my will and testament.
1st I give and bequeath to my wife Delphine Jackson all the household goods furniture and effects which shall at my death be in or about my house and to have same during her life then to go to my son Edward Doyle Jackson.
2nd. I give and bequeath unto my said wife all the money in the Newfoundland Savings Bank at Harbor Grace also any money in the Nova Scotia Bank at Harbor Grace. And all the water stock which I hold in my name
3rd I give and bequeath to my said wife all the money which will be paid out of the Saint John's Masonic Life Insurance Society which will pay funeral expenses and the balance if any for her own use.
4th. I give and bequeath to my said wife the house and land situated at Brigus Conception Bay to have and to hold during her said life then said place to go to my son Edward Doyle Jackson.
5th. I give and bequeath to my son Edward Doyle Jackson all the money in the Bank of Montreal at Saint John's.
6th. I give and bequeath to my wife and son one seat in Saint Georges Church Brigus Conception Bay and I hereby constitute and appoint my said wife Delphine Jackson and my said son Edward Doyle Jackson to be the executrix and executor of this my will and testament.
I Alexander Jackson have hereunto set my hand and seal this ninth day of August in the year of our Lord nineteen hundred and one 1901. Alexander Jackson (L.S.) Witnesses A. Graham Munn. Wm. Ward.

      I certify the foregoing to be a correct copy of the last will of Alexander Jackson.
