Will of William Ivamy
December 30th, 1907
I William Ivamy of Fresh Water Trinity declare
this to be my last will and testament.
- I give and bequeath to my nephew Joseph Ivamy son
of George Ivamy the sum of One hundred dollars
$100.00.
- I give and bequeath to George Ivamy son
of the late Jonathan Ivamy the sum of One
hundred dollars $100.00.
- I give and bequeath to my niece Mrs Arthur Croucher the
sum of Fifty dollars $50.00.
- I give and bequeath to my niece Mrs Eli Adams the
sum of Fifty dollars $50.00.
- I give and bequeath to John Ivamy son of Frederick
Ivamy the sum of One hundred dollars $100.00.
- I give and bequeath to William Ivamy son
of Fredk Ivamy the sum of One hundred dollars
$100.00.
- I give and bequeath to my Nephew Fredrick Ivamy the
sum of $125.00 One hundred and twenty five dollars to be collected
from Mrs Emma Hiscock Trinity West with interest
at 6/0 percent on Principal till the amt is paid.
- I give and bequeath for a New Church of England to be built
on Jones Hill in the neighborhood of Peace Cove Trinity. The
sum of One hundred dollars $100.00 when required.
- I give and bequeath to my daughter, Mrs Robert Barber the
sum of One hundred dollars $100.00.
- I give and bequeath to my Grandson William Ivamy
Barber the sum of Forty dollars $40.00 to be collected
from John Fowlow (son of Thomas)
Jobs Head due testator
- I give and bequeath to my partner Martin Fowlow
(son of Wm) all my part of Fishing property.
- I give and bequeath to my wife, Susan Ivamy all
my household property excepting one bed to be sold to Robt.
Fowlow (son of Philip) to dispose
of as she choose after my death.
- I give and bequeath to my wife Susan Ivamy the
sum of Two hundred dollars $200.00 & Interest of money
lying in Banks at St.John's as long as she lives.
- I give and bequeath the Sum of One hundred dollars $100.00
for to erect a square tombstone in Christ Church Cemetry to
myself daughter and sister Mary Ivamy.
- (There's no #15)
- None of the above amounts lying in the Banks at St.John's
to be paid till after my wife Susan Ivamy's death.
- All the rest, residence and remainder of my money
and
personal estate I give
devise and bequeath to my said wife Susan Ivamy forever.
- I give my wife the privilege to give my land at Fresh Water
to Amaziah King for to come and live on forever
if he choose, but for to have nothing what so ever to do with
excepting living on it, and if Amaziah King don't
live on it she can give it to whomsoever she wish.
- I appoint my said Nephew Fredk Ivamy & my
wifes nephew John Fowlow (of Phillip)
executors of this my last will, and desire that they shall
not be required to give any security for the performance of
their duties.
In Witness Whereof, I. William Ivamy, have
hereunto set my hand this thirtieth day of December in the year
of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and seven

TO ONE OF THE HONOURABLE THE JUDGES THEREOF.
The Petition of Frederick Ivany of Kerleys
Harbor and John Fowlow ( of Phillip )
of Trinity East in the electoral district of Trinity Planters.
Humbly Sheweth
- William Ivamy of Fresh Water in the electoral
district of Trinity Planter died at that place on or about
22nd day of September 1908 having first made and
executed his last Will and Testament which is hereto annexed
marked "A". Your Petitioners were
appointed the Executors of the said will.
- The said William Ivamy at the time of his
decease was possessed of property within the jurisdiction of
this Honourable Court of the probable value of One Thousand
Eight hundred and forty four dollars and Sixty three cents.
- Hereto annexed marked "B" is a
correct Inventory and Valuation of the assets of the estate
and effects of said deceased.
- No Probate of any Will nor administration to the estate of
said deceased had been at any time applied for by, or granted
to any person.
Your Petitioners therefore pray that Letters of Probate of the
said last Will and Testament of said deceased may be granted
to them.
AND as in duty bound your Petitioners will ever pray
