Philip H. Hutchins deceased.
This is the last will and Testament
of me Philip Henry Hutchins of Greenspond in the Island of
Newfoundland, Merchant
First I give devise and bequeath to my wife Annie Hutchins during
her natural life all my Household Furniture china Glass earthenware and Household
effects of every description and kind whatsoever as well as one half of my
Mercantile Business and Premises and every thing belonging or appertaining
thereto.
Second After the decease of my said wife I give devise and
bequeath to all my children their and each of their Executors administrators
and assigns share and share alike all my said Household Furniture china Glass
earthenware and Household effects before mentioned as well as the other half
and remainder of my Mercantile business and premises aforesaid.
Third I hereby revoke all former wills and Codicils by me
at any time made and declare this to be my last will and Testament. And I hereby
appoint my son Philip
Henry of St. John’s Clerk sole executor of this my last will
and Testament DMB (sgd)
Philip Henry Hutchins In witness whereof In witness whereof I
have hereunto set my hand at Greenspond aforesaid this Twenty-seventh day of
September A.D. one thousand eight hundred and eighty nine (sgd) Philip
Henry Hutchins Signed by the said Testator in our presence who at his request and
in the presence of each other have hereunto set our names as witnesses on the
day and year and place aforesaid Augustus O Hayward George Burry.
