WILLIAM HUMPHRIES
.

THIS IS THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT of me William Humphries, of Greenspond, in the island of Newfoundland, made this Fifteenth day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twenty eight. I hereby revoke all Wills and other testamentary dispositions made by me at any time heretofore. I appoint my wife Fanny Butler Humphries to be the executor of this my last Will and Testament, and direct that all my debts and funeral expenses shall be paid as soon as conveniently may be after my decease.

  1. I give and bequeath unto my wife, Fanny Butler Humphries, all my real and personal estate of whatsoever kind and wheresoever found, for her use during her widowhood, but should she re-marry or die then the said real and personal estate shall be equally divided between my two sons James Humphries and Charles Humphries, share and share alike.
  2. I give unto my son Charles Humphries the sum of Two hundred dollars and to my son James Humphries the sum Five hundred dollars and to my wife Fanny Butler Humphries the residue or balance of the money to my credit in the Savings Bank at the Bank of Montreal.
