In re
WILLIAM HUMBER. DECEASED.
I William Humber of Whale Cove Bonne Bay being of sound mind and
memory do make this my last will and testament.
I appoint the Rector of Bonne Bay Executor of this my will.
I
direct that my land be divided I have already given my son
George the North side of the Brook into the boundary in straight line not
running as the Brook runs. I give my son James the inner garden, with enough
land on the outside part to make one acre the remainder I leave to my two
sons Norman and Walter to divide between themselves. And I direct that is
shall never be sold out of the name of Humber.
My Stores
boats wharf and fishing gear I leave to my four sons James, George,
Norman & Walter,
on the condition that they use it together, the last one remaining to hold
it, except that the one holding the boat must pay to each of the others the
sum of Twenty Dollars.
My
money that is in the Bank, after all and sundry debts and expenses are paid
is to be divided equally between my four sons James George Norman and Walter.
I leave my son Walter, except should Norman and his family wish to live in
it until he got one of his own, the house. I leave my easy chair to my son
Walter, and the lounge to Norman, and to each a rocking chair. I leave my
son Edward the things which he put in the house, as also
to all my children. I leave the sewing machine to my daughter Maria,
and a piece or two of old crockeryware belonging to her mother.

Codicil to this my last will and testament
made Dec 8. 1923.
I direct that in return for the carrying out of
the duties of Executor in connection with this my will, the Rev
G. H. Maidment Rector of Bonne Bay is to take the sum of
Twenty Five dollars for himself.
