      In the name of God Amen. I Alexander Edward Howley being of sound mind do make this my last will and Testament I hereby give and bequeath to my beloved wife Johannah for her sole use and benefit all the property of which I die possessed. (Sgd) Alex E. Howley. Witnesses (sgd) John J. Howley (sgd) Thomas Howley.    St. John’s Newfoundland August 31^st 1875.
