Will of John Hogan from Newfoundland will books volume 7 pages 213-214 probate year 1902

The last Will of John Hogan
late of Harbor Grace, Butcher, deceased.

      This is the last will and Testament of me John Hogan of Harbor Grace in the Island of Newfoundland, Butcher. In the first place I direct that my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses be paid out of any money or monies that I may die possessed of or be entitled to.
Second I give devise and bequeath to my son Timothy P. Hogan my farm situate on the hill of Harbor Grace with all the erections and farming utensils thereon also the trade and stand and the stock in trade at Harbor Grace in consideration for the support of his mother and his sister Mary S Hogan while she remains single.
Third I give devise and bequeath to my daughter Mary Hogan the house and land situate in the College Lane Harbor Grace.
Fourth I give devise and bequeath my house and land situate on Water Street East in the town of Harbor Grace to my daughter Margaret E. Casey wife of John Casey of Harbor Grace
I hereby nominate and appoint the Rev. John March and John Casey to be my executors of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I the Testator have hereunto set my hand this thirtieth day of September AD nineteen hundred and two John Hogan.
Signed published and declared by the testator as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us who in his presence at his request and the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.

I hereby add this codicil to my last will and testament to my son William P. Hogan I devise and bequeath my interest of the house and land now occupied by Thomas Tobin, also my household furniture to my wife Ann Hogan absolute. Dated at Hr. Grace Newfoundland this third day of October 1902. John his x mark Hogan witnesses Thomas Browne J. J. Murphy
