The last Will of Henry John Hickman
late of Grand Bank, Planter, deceased.
I Henry John Hickman of Grand Bank in the Southern
District of Newfoundland, Planter, being of sound and disposing min and memory,
do make and publish my last will and testament in form and manner following
that is to say :-
1st I give and devise to my two sons John R. Hickman
and Albert E. Hickman, in equal parts to each that waterside property situate
on the west side of the harbor of Grand Bank with the buildings thereon called
the stage; and also the two beaches owned by me and situate on the east side
of the said harbor, to them and their heirs and assigns for ever.
2nd All the residue and remainder of my estate both real and personal of every
kind of which I may be lawfully possessed at the time of my decease I give
devise and bequeath to my beloved wife Anne Hickman absolutely.
3rd I appoint my said dear wife Ann Hickman executrix of this my last will and
testament hereby revoking and annulling all former wills by me at any time
heretofore made and ratifying and confirming this writing and no other to be
my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set
my hand at Grand Bank aforesaid the second day of October in the year of our
Lord one thousand nine hundred and two. Henry J. Hickman - Signed by Henry
John Hickman the testator and by him declared to be his last will and testament
in the presence of us who in his presence and in the presence of each other
at the same time have subscribed our names as witnesses. Eli R Forsey.
