probable initials of judge or clerk to left of point 5. Some writing on top of this page cut off on photocopy from Supreme Court "A" same initials here as beside point 5 THIS IS THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT of me, ROBERT MARTIN HENNEBURY of St. John's in the island of Newfoundland Foreman. I revoke all former wills and testamentary dispositions by me at any time heretofore made and declare this to be my last will and testament. I appoint my wife Henrietta the Executrix of this my will. I desire all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses (including death duties) first be paid out of my estate. I give devise and bequeath all property of which I may die possessed of every kind nature and description to my Executrix to be hers absolutely. Should my said wife Henrietta predecease me I give devise and bequeath all my property to my son Hayward to be his absolutely and in such event I appoint him Executor of this my will. IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto subscribed my hand at St. John's aforesaid this 24th day of April A. D. 1946. Robert Hennebury SIGNED PUBLISHED AND DECLARED by the said Testator as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us both present at the same time who at his request and in his presence and I the presence of each other have hereunto Subscribed our names as witnesses attesting the due execution thereof. Unknown witness Notes: At this time I do not have enough information to connect Robert to the other Henneburys of Quidi Vidi. The Martin middle name has to indicate a link to the Martin faming family of the White Hills of which the oldest known record is the will of Thomas Martin found at http://ngb.chebucto.org/Wills/martin-thomas-1-468.shtml My connection to this research is through my great great grandfather John Bastow who married Jane Hennebury. Her parents were Richard Hennebury and Mary Jane Martin. Mary Jane was a daughter of Thomas and was mentioned in the will as Mary Hennebury.
