Will of Henry Heath from Newfoundland will books volume 5 pages 62-63 probate year 1886 Last will and Testament of In the name of God Amen. The Twenty second day of June one thousand eight hundred and eighty four I Henry Heath of St. John's Boot and Shoemaker being of sound mind but being sick and weak of body do give and bequeath unto my wife Nancy Barnes during her natural life my farm on the Portugal Cove Road dwelling house in the city of St. John's (during lease thereof) household furniture and moneys remaining after my burial expenses are paid. yet at the same time I should recommend her to sell or lease the above named farm. I also bequeath to my beloved son Henry Thomas my good will and stock in trade in the shoemaking business. And I further bequeath on the demise of my dear wife and unto my beloved children Margaret Sarah, Henry Thomas and George Alfred all my real estate and moneys if any household furniture and residue of term of dwelling house I also appoint my said wife Executrix of this my last will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year as above written. Hy Heath (LS). Signed Sealed and declared by the said Henry Hearth as his last will and Testament in the presence of Thos. Barnes. Len. Horwood. F. J. Doyle.
