Herbert Hayward.

In the event of my death, all my furniture affects, monies payable at my death my life insurance & accident insurance Companies and everything I possess in this world, I will to my dear wife Kathryn she to be my sole executrix.
In the event of my estate realizing over seven thousand five hundred dollars, the executrix shall pay the following amounts to my Mother & sister Isabel one hundred dollars each, to my sisters Edna, Gwen, & Laura, Fifty dollars each.
This my last will & testament, signed sealed & delivered in St John's this 31^st day of December 1914, in the presence of, and each in the presence of one another.

In the event of my death, I will to my mother if living the sum of FIVE hundred dollars and to each of my sisters if living the sum of two hundred and fifty dollars each. These beneficients [B.H.] benefits to take the place of amounts willed in the foregoing, as originally mentioned & specified on other side hereof. The residue to go to my wife Kathryn as mentioned overleaf.
