      Anastasia Hayes          deceased.

      This is the last will and testament of me Anastasia Hayes of St. John’s Spinster. I give devise and bequeath all my property and effects of every description to my niece Eliza Whelan for her sole use and benefit and I appoint the said Eliza Whelan Sole Executrix of this my will. I desire that the said Eliza Whelan out of the rent of the house on Dicks Square shall pay the sum of ten dollars annually for masses for the repose of the Soul of myself and of my Sister Anne. Dated this first day of May 1908 Anastasia her x mark Hayes. Witness (having first been read and explained    D. Morison    Kate Connors.
