Will of William Charles Hawker
from Newfoundland will books volume 9 page 395 probate year 1912

In re
      William C. Hawker         deceased.

      In the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Ghost Amen. This is to certify this is my Last will and Testament
First that I William Charles Hawker do bequeath to my wife Ann Hawker so long as she Liveth my Dwelling House and barn and Land attached with all its Furniture and after Her Death the same Dwelling House and Barn and Land attached and Furniture to our Son Manoah James Hawker and after His Death to His son William Bertram Harrington Hawker and the same property as above named and after His Death to His Heirs in Succession for ever.
Secondly I Bequeath to my wife Ann Hawker, one Hundred Dollars $100.00 with Interest placed in the Savings Bank as Book will show 1910
Thirdly I Bequeath to my wife Ann Hawker a gift from my employers and fellow servants over Thirty Dollars in gold which she has in Her Possession.
Fourthly I bequeath to my wife Ann Hawker my Balance due to me from my employees John Rorke & sons after paying Rev F. W. Colley Twenty Dollars and Doctor Boyle Four Dollars and Patrick Hogan & sons for their account for Fresh Meat this year and any other Lawfull account
Fifthly I appoint Rev F. W. Colley and G. A. Moulton Esq to be my Trustees This Third Day June one thousand nine Hundred and Eleven Carbonear Newfoundland    William Charles Hawker witnesses George A Moulton    George Crocker
