In re DECEASED.
MOSES HAWCO.
My last will in testament.
In the name of God Amen.
I Moses Hawco of Chapels Cove in the district of Harbour Main being of sound
and disposing mind and memory and considering the uncertainty of this life
do make publish and declare this to be my last will, as follows.
First.
I leave to my wife Rachael Hawco all my property until after her death providing
she don't leave or marry again after my wifes death
second my (second)
son Samuel is to have and to hold as follows my dwelling house and its effects
stable and half farm land situated west of my dwelling house bounded by Frank
Hawco north east, and by Patrick Slyney south west and by old back road north
west and by pond south east and also my cellar second also I bequeath to my
son Samuel half Mackys land which name its called
3rd I bequeath
to my son Stephen half my farm land the south west half from pond to old back
road and also half Macky land south side portion of it. I bequeath to my son
Stephen a place to build a house south side of road next pond if he want it
and if he don't build a house he get no further claim. My son Samuel is to
help John $250.00 towards building a house. My son Stephen is to help John also $250.00 (two hundred and fifty dollars) towards building. Also my son
Samuel is to see to the support of my wife Rachael
Hawco.
4th I bequeath
to my daughter Mary one spinning wheel two pictures.
5th I bequeath
to my son Edward one chest of drawers one sleigh & one set of harness.
6th I bequeath to my son John one sheep.
7th I bequeath to my daughter
Ellen two dollars ($2.00) I bequeath to my son Samuel my horse and
car and wheels and box cart and and catraran and plow gh- and also the rest
of my children is to have the use of horse when they want it. I also
bequeath to my son Edward (30 cts) thirty cents. And last I hereby
constitute and appoint my brother Frank and Thos Terry to be executors of this
my last will and testament and confirming this to be and no other to be my
last will and testament.

Signed declared and published by the above named Moses Hawco as for his last
will and testament in presence of us who at his request have signed as witnesses
to the same this first day September in the year of our Lord one thousand nine
hundred and twenty.
